Institute of electronics has a reasonable facility in terms of equipment and manpower for electronics R & D , but besides Research and Development work; the Institute has fabricated quite a few products most of which were designed for use within AERE (instruments, systems & devices) These are made in our small scale production laboratory and are offered for sale to outside agencies..

Hand and Shoe Radiation Monitor

Isotope or radioactive dust/ particles may cling onto hand and shoe while working in a radioactive environment . In order to ensure radiation safety the contamination level of user`s body (specially at their hand and foot) is required to be monitored. The institute has designed and developed Hand and Shoe Radiation Monitor which are being used in various nuclear facilities.

Area Radiation Monitor

Some places like Reactor, Source Room, Waste disposal room, etc. It is necessary to measure the radiation level from remotely as there exists radiation all the time. Area Radiation Monitors are used to measure the radiation level in these places. Portable Dose Rate Meter

Alpha, Beta and Gamma radiations occur spontaneously from natural and man made radioactive materials. Radioisotopes applications are increasing in Research, Industries, Diagnosis, Treatment, etc. Detrimental effect of radiation can be reduced through controlled activities and proper measurement of the radiation. The Institute has developed Portable Dose Rate meter to measure Beta and Gamma radiation.

Digital pH Meter

A pH meter is an electronic instrument used to measure the pH (acidity or alkalinity) of a liquid. Drop Out Relay

Electrical and electronic appliances and instruments may get damaged due to excessive low and high voltages and initial surges of the mains. This protection device protects instruments by disconnecting the same from the mains when the mains voltage exceeds some predetermined range of values. a time delay is also incorporated in the device to provide a delay time for the input to come at the output after the restoration of the mains power to its normal value.
